Fresh Local Food in the Isle of Avalon
Glastonbury Farmers Market has been running for twelve years now and attracts a variety of local producers. The town centre itself is a fasinating place to explore with a whole high street of original and alternative shops selling everything from crystals to clothing, and several cafes and restaurants. As well as the shops there is plenty to visit, including the historic Abbey and Tor, the Chalice Well and the Rural Life Museum.
There is parking at the market - drivers use the Northload Street exit from the bypass. Pedestrians can use the shortcut from the high street next to St John's Church.
