Portobello Organic MarketBrighton Park, Portobello, Edinburgh
Bringing Local Organic Food to Portobello
Although food is the core of the market, we also include a selection of local crafts and other organic products. The market is held in Brighton Park, just 5 minutes walk from Portobello High Street and all the fantastic shops and amenities there. We started with funding to run five trial markets and these have proved to be a huge success! The aim of Portobello Organic Market is to provide the people of Portobello with somewhere to buy locally produced organic food and drink and an outlet for local producers and retailers providing organic food and drink. By doing this we hope it will: * Raise awareness of, and availability of, organic food and drink * Encourage existing local traders to think about the sourcing of their goods * Enhance the local economy, encouraging local production and sale
When
Markets are held on the first Saturday of every month, 10am to 2pm.
