Real Food Market Southbank Centre SE1

A celebration of extraordinary food

We believe that everyone deserves convenient access to real food as often as possible. There is so much research out there that suggests that a lot of us want to buy this sort of food but the reality is that few of us do, so easy is the lure of the supermarkets.

The idea behind setting up Real Food Markets is to try to provide as much convenience and access to great food producers as we can. By finding locations where there is already a high footfall and working with the owners of these spaces, we can help provide excellent trading opportunities for small producers that really need access to new markets and at the same time offer a convenient way for the public to buy fresh, high quality 'real food' at affordable prices.

Real Food Markets offer a completely different experience to soulless supermarkets. As a regular shopper at a Real Food Market, you will be able to trust the provenance of your food by buying direct from the people who produce it.

When

Our markets run for 3 days (Friday to Sunday) so that shoppers have real flexibility in when they are able to come and buy, which we believe is a key ingredient in offering a real alternative to the ubiquitous supermarkets. Our first market at London's Southbank started in July 2010 on a monthly basis and we are delighted that this will now be going weekly from the second week in May 2011.
