Weekly Market in Historic Setting

Every Wednesday seventeen Somerset producers offer a fabulous choice of local and seasonal food in the Market Place in Wells, just in front of the Town Hall.  They join up with the general market to provide a real treat for shoppers looking for something different.

Wells itself is a historic city with lots of lovely unique shops, cafes and restaurants.  It is the smallest catherdral city in England and there is much to see and do here.

The closest car park to the Market is South Street but this is often full and you may find that other city car parks are cheaper.
