Celebrated for salmon and seafood from cold clean waters, Northern Ireland also offers outstanding beef, lamb and pork. Ulster has a strong baking tradition, creating amongst other delights the Soda Farl that crowns the famous Ulster Fry. Barm Bracks and sweet baking often use Bramley apples from Co.Armagh. Oysters from Strangford Lough must be washed down with the national drink of Guinness or a tot from the oldest surviving distillery in the world at Bushmills.
