Alder Carr Farm is situated in a picturesque location on the river Gipping near the old town of Needham Market. The farm shop, deli and courtyard craft centre are housed in attractive farm buildings on a 50 acre mixed farm. Fresh farm-grown produce and local speciality foods are sold and you can come and pick-your-own fruit in the summer. Highland cattle, free-range hens and Suffolk sheep roam on our traditional meadows. Our Alder Tree fruit ice creams are all made on-site using as much of our own or locally grown fruit as possible. Crafts include a pottery, paintings and jewellery, celebration cakes and the Garden Mill. Alder Carr Farm Cafe specialises in fresh, farm-grown and local food. The extensive menu includes lunches, snacks, cakes, tea, coffee and a children's menu. Children’s play area and farm animals are also located on the farm. There is also a pleasant walk, along a permitted route, through the Alder Carr woodland and across meadows.
